Meet Principal Hernandez

I am honored to join the Kettering community as principal and look forward to getting to know our students, staff, families, and community.

As I begin this new chapter at Kettering, three words are guiding my thinking for the year: possibility, impact, and connection. I’m excited to explore the possibilities that come with a new school year, to be thoughtful about the impact we have on our students and one another, and to build meaningful connections throughout our school community.

Starting a new school year brings an exciting opportunity to listen, learn, and appreciate the many perspectives that make up our community. I look forward to being part of the everyday moments that make a school year meaningful—from welcoming students each morning to celebrating their growth and accomplishments along the way. Most of all, I’m excited about what this year may bring and the connections and experiences that will shape my first year at Kettering.
