Parent Teacher Association and  Kettering Family Nights

Kettering PTA is a dedicated group of parents making a difference in our school’s education, health, and safety.  Through its core values of commitment, accountability, collaboration, respect, inclusivity, and integrity Kettering PTA strives to engage our school community to advocate for all our children.

Kettering PTA’s brings the “fun” in fundraising at Kettering.  Many of our fundraising events become a wonderful time for our school community to come together.  Our biggest event is our “Fit Fest” which brings sports, movement, and FUN to our campus.  We have an outdoor, easy access book fair twice a year and our local restaurants are supporters for our family fun. 

PTA is also focused on bringing the community together through:  Movie night, Fall Trunk or Treat, Family Sweetheart Dance, Science Night, Kite Day, and our end of the year Carnival.

Finally, our PTA ensures we are out and about learning in different locations; field trips include MOLA, LB Aquarium, Long Beach Museum of Art, Centennial Farms, and on campus, “Walk through California”, “Walk through United States” and International Theater to name a few.
